Workshop Title: CPR for your child care setting: how to enjoy quality time each and every moment!

Target Audience: Early childhood teachers and those who are raising, nurturing, and teaching children

Description: Learn the philosophy behind the Nurtured Heart Approach to children’s behaviors. Learn how to do CPR: Control of focused energy, Purposeful choice of words, while Respecting yourself and the child. This is a non-traditional approach to raising, nurturing and teaching children which fosters the child’s self-worth, focuses our energy to the appropriate moments, maintains self-respect for all people, and follows through on rules and consequences without warnings.

 

Workshop Title: Promotion of healthy living through focused energy and a purposeful choice of words: Strategies to approach healthy eating, physical activity, time spent outdoors, physical activity preferences, and sedentary behaviors!

Target Audience: Early childhood teachers, Parents and those who are raising, nurturing, and teaching children

Description: Children are influenced through the energy that we give to their every moment. Adults can shape a child’s self-worth through control of energy, Purposeful choice of words, with Respect for self and the child. Learn the strategies to shape a child for healthy living and appropriate choices of activities and food.

 

Workshop Title: Parent Involvement in Early Childhood Settings

Target Audience: Early childhood teachers, Parents and those who are raising, nurturing, and teaching children

Description: Parent involvement in early childhood and after school programs are critical to support the well-being of the child. Learn the six areas of parent involvement and create a plan to boost the parent involvement in your center.

 

Workshop Title: Eight Conditions for a Child’s Aspirations

Target Audience: Early childhood teachers, Parents and those who are raising, nurturing, and teaching children

Description: Adults have the uncanny ability to influence the aspirations of a child. Learn the 8 conditions of a child’s aspirations and create a center-wide plan to foster a child’s aspirations.

 

Workshop Title: CPR for your home: how to enjoy quality time each and every moment!

Target Audience: Parents and those who are raising, nurturing, and teaching children

Description: How do you fit it all in when you see your kids challenging you at every turn? How are you expected to raise a child in today’s world when there are so many tasks to take care of? How can you find the time to strengthen your relations with your child when your child is being disobedient, arguing with you, saying inappropriate words, fighting with siblings, refusing to do homework, not wanting to get out of bed in the morning and not complying when it is time to go to bed at night? You can have that quality time with your children. We can climb that mountain together as you begin to understand this way of building relations with your child by implementing the Nurtured Heart Approach: CPR. Control of your energy, Purposeful choice of words, with respect for yourself and your children. This is a non-traditional approach to raising, nurturing and teaching children that makes plain sense to nurturing hearts.

 

Workshop Title: Supervising early childhood staff: The Five-minute Walkthrough

Target Audience: Early ChildhoodDirectors

Description: Learn the concepts behind the five minute walkthrough. Give great feedback to your staff through daily supervision with an opportunity to influence the values of your center in a natural, positive way.

 

Workshop Title: School Readiness in Early Childhood Settings

Target Audience: Early childhood teachers, Parents and those who are raising, nurturing, and teaching children

Description: What is school readiness? What can early childhood environments do to support the many transitions from child care environments to school building? Develop a concise list of steps to take to help your center be a center that includes smooth transitions. Create the plan to then implement your ideas.

 

Workshop Title: CPR for your classroom: how to enjoy quality time each and every moment!

Target Audience: Early childhood teachers, Parents and those who are raising, nurturing, and teaching children

Description: Learn effective strategies to focus on quality time and foster self-worth and self-confidence in the child. Discover the shared values in your center and how to promote those values in a natural way. Based on the Nurtured Heart Approach.

 

Workshop Title: Transforming your child for healthy living: Understanding the Functional Emotional Growth milestones of infants and young children

Target Audience: Early childhood teachers, Parents and those who are raising, nurturing, and teaching children

Description: Learn the milestones of developing functional emotional growth as researched by Stanley Greenspan. Discover ways that you can help to facilitate growth in the early years from during the stages to reach the next stage. Learn to assess the growth and what activities can be done to address the missed stage.
